Working Together:
The Lackawanna Interagency Council is a coalition of member agencies that provide services to the residents of and around Lackawanna County.
Our Mission
- To identify human service providers and their roles in the community
- To address specific issues facing our consumers
- To network with each other to better serve the community.
- To offer continuing education to Interagency Council members
Benefits:

- Eligible to compete/apply to the Human Services Mini-Grant program.
- Monthly gathering: Individual agency updates-, grant, volunteer, collaborative partnership opportunities, & camaraderie
- Member-driven event sponsorship, volunteer support, quality human services conferences (Breakfast/Luncheon)
To be eligible for membership, the agency/organization (profit or nonprofit) must be involved in the delivery and/or coordination of human services to residents of Lackawanna County. This includes federal, state, county, and local government agencies as well as privately owned organizations/agencies.
Annual Membership Fee: $20 (Up to 2 persons per Agency)
Membership valid through 01/01/2026-12/31/2026

Lackawanna IAC Meetings
Meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of the month from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Salvation Army Scranton Center at 500 S Washington Ave, Scranton, PA 18505. We will not hold a meeting in June & July for our summer break.
